Are you ready for a change?
Then read about my life-changing story and follow my lead. You will find more peace and happiness then
you ever imagined.
I’m Ron Villano, M.S., LMHC, ASAC -- psychotherapist, life
coach, speaker and author of The Zing: The self-discovery guide to
help you go from living life to loving the life you live.
My message is to Embrace the Power of Change. And I live with this passion, every day,
every moment of my life.
It wasn’t always like this.
Over ten years ago I was on fast forward. I thought I had all the things that life had
to offer – a successful business, a wife, children, and a beautiful home. I felt secure in my world and in my future.
How quickly that changed.
On a sunny day in July my son Michael, 17, was killed in a car accident.
He had so much to give and a whole lot
of life to live. My world was shattered.
So many questions to ask. Why not me? Why did God let this happen? How can I possibly get over this? I became paralyzed with grief. I shut out my family and friends. I retreated inside myself and refused to come
out.
I spent years searching for a way out of the darkness. I lost many of the things that I thought made
me successful – family, friends, my home, my career. I was alone – and I knew that I had to do
something or I was going to disappear forever.
What I didn’t know at the time was that God had brought people into my
life to guide me back into the light. But
first, I had to stop fighting the change and, more importantly, start working
through the pain.
After years of therapy, tears, hugs and support I was able
to gain my life back. With this new awareness I was ready to share my loss, my
recovery and my message. The best way I knew how was to study hard, start a new
career as a psychotherapist and put my message into words. My book, The
Zing, is not about the loss of my son.
It is the story about how I emerged out of the tragedy.
Michael guides my journey and touches the lives of those
around me. And I can’t think of a better
way to honor him then by sharing our story.
Appearances on national radio and
TV shows like Montel Williams have allowed us to bring our message of
hope to the next level. Michael inspires
all those who hear our message and together we have an incredible mission.
What is so hard to believe is that the loss of my son gave
me an incredible new life. Let my
life-changing story motivate your audience and create a new wave of
inspiration.
